# How to Add a Space to Your Venue Listing?

## Step-by-step guide to creating a new space or duplicating an existing one in your venue listing.

There are two ways to add a space.

**1. Starting from a Fresh Page**  
From your dashboard, click **“Add New”**, then select **“Space”**.  
If you have multiple venues, choose the venue you would like to add the space to, then click **“Create Space”**. You will then be directed to the space creation page.

From there:

- Add a **Space Name** and an **External Name**. (This will be the title visible to viewers.)
- Upload photos of the space.
- Select the type of space:  
    - Exclusive - Entire Venue
    - Private Space
    - Semi-Private Space
- Choose the event types you can host.
- Add layouts and capacities.
- Select the amenities available at your venue.
- Add menus and packages, if applicable.
- Set the operating hours.
- Add a description of the space. Write a clear and compelling description that highlights what makes your space unique. Focus on key selling points such as the atmosphere, style, size, layout, and best-use occasions (for example, corporate events, weddings, or private dining). You can also mention standout features like views, natural lighting, accessibility, or special amenities. Keep the tone engaging and easy to read so potential clients can quickly understand why your space is the right choice for their event.

 Once completed, click **“Publish Space”**.

**2. Add a Space by Duplicating an Existing Space**  
If you do not want to repeat the entire setup process for each space, you can duplicate an existing space you have already created. This can save you significant time when adding multiple spaces.

To do this:

- Select the existing space you would like to duplicate.
- Click **“Duplicate”**.
- Update all information to match the new space you want to add, including:  
    - Space Name and External Name
    - Photos
    - Type of Space
    - Event Types
    - Layouts and Capacities
    - Amenities
    - Menus and Packages
    - Operating Hours
    - Description

- Review all details carefully before publishing.

 Once everything has been updated, click **“Publish Space”**.
