Reporting Dashboard Updates 📊
Interactions
We've updating our reporting dashboard to provide more insight on how clients are engaging with your listings. We call these engagements "Interactions" and they include the following:
- Marketplace Enquiries (enquiries sent by clients via your listings)
- Concierge Enquiries (enquiries sent by our team who assist clients)
- Phone Number Clicks
- Website Clicks
- File Upload Clicks (function packs, menus & offers)
You can see the number of interactions with your listings over time and can hover on the "Interactions" and "Cumulative Interactions" charts to see a breakdown of each interaction type.
If a client has had multiple interactions on your listings for that session (eg. Clicked a function pack, clicked your phone number then sent an enquiry) we only track one interaction.
Interactions Value & Listing View Value
When users are landing on your listings, they're often coming from our search experience with various search filters added, such as:
- Budget
- Event Type
- Number of People
- and more
If we know the client's budget they've used in search or an enquiry, we assign this budget as the "Interaction Value" and "View Value".
If we don't know the client's budget, but we do know their event type and number of people, then we calculate an estimated interaction value based on the average price per person for that event type.
For example, we know that the average price per person for a Christmas party is $120 per person. If the client is hosting an event for 100 people, then the estimated value is $120 per person x 100 = $12,000.
Other Metrics on Your Dashboard
- Searches
- Number of times your listings have appeared in client searches.
- Landing Page Views
- Number of times clients have viewed your listings on our "Top 10" SEO landing pages.
- Listing Views
- Number of times your listings have been viewed.
Search Experience 🔎
We've rolled out a major update to our search experience, making it even easier for clients to find the perfect venue. The updates include:
Faster Speed
Our search results now load 10x faster, providing clients with a seamless search experience as they add or remove filters, zoom in/out of the map or move the map around. The search results are now just as fast if there are 500 spaces in a search or 50 spaces.
More Accurate Locations
We've created a custom location database that allows clients to search for regions, areas and suburbs. Regions are the most zoomed out, areas are medium zoom and suburbs are the most zoomed in.
Better Filters
We've improved our filter experience, especially on mobile, to make it easier for clients to narrow down their search to the right venues.
Improved Map Pins
Rather than showing individual pins on the map for each venue, we now cluster pins that are close by. This makes the map a lot less overwhelming for the client compared to our previous design, and has an added benefit of faster load times. As the client clicks on a cluster, this zooms the map in.
Map Cards
We've improved the client experience when clicking on an individual map pin, showing a preview of the venue on the map. If there are multiple spaces at the same venue, the user can page through different spaces on the map card.
Simplified Card Design
We've simplified our space cards with a borderless design, allowing us to showcase images in a larger format.
Updating Enquiry Statuses ✅
Enquiry Dashboard - Bulk Enquiry Status Update Pop Up
Previously, when logging into your Enquiry Dashboard, if you had any enquiries that needed updating, a pop up would appear promoting you to update the enquiry to "In Progress", "Booking Won" or "Booking Lost".
After feedback from venue partners that this was a frustrating experience, we've updated this so that the pop-up doesn't appear by default.
If you do have multiple enquiries that need updating, you can still view this pop up by clicking the "Update Enquiry Statuses" button in the top right of your Enquiry Dashboard.
Enquiry Dashboard - Updating Individual Enquiries
If you'd like to update individual enquiries, you can do this by clicking "Show More" on the right of an enquiry on your dashboard. You then click the "Update Status" button which will prompt you to update the enquiry to "Won" or "Lost".
Options for updating enquiry statuses:
- Responded -> Won or Lost
- Pending -> Won or Lost
- Won -> Lost
- Lost -> Won
Booking Lost Reasons
If you'd like to update an enquiry to lost, we encourage you to provide a reason from the options provided, which include:
- Booked Another Venue
- Event Cancelled
- No Response From Client
- Budget
- No Availability
- Duplicate Enquiry
- Other
- You can enter a custom answer
Booking lost reasons provide us with more granular insights into how we can improve your experience and match you with the right clients in the future.
